The Society is an extremely friendly organisation, with members with a wide variety of interests not only in the Philatelic area but other collecting areas as well. It was founded in 1943, and is affiliated to the Associated British Philatelic Society and the Federation of Surrey Philatelic Societies.
Meetings take place twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at the Friends Meeting House, North Street, Guildford, (opposite the Library).
The room is opened at about 7.15 p.m., and we usually start the meeting at 7.30 p.m. Coffee or Tea and Biscuits are available during the meetings, with a small charge of 50p.
These less formal meetings take place once a month on the first Wednesday of each month at the Fairlands Community Centre, Guildford.
The meetings start at about 2.30 p.m., and we aim to finish by 4.30 p.m. A small charge is made for refreshments and towards room hire.
A popular monthly exchange packet is available to members.
