Values given as less than bullion value have been uprated accordingly.
The lack of a value for a grade means either that the coin is rarely found in that grade or that it has bullion value only.
On 31st May 2008 gold bullion was $884 per Troy oz (£447). The half sovereign contains 0.1177 oz of gold, and this gives a bullion value of about £53 or US$104.
Please note that prices given above were valid in early 2006 when gold prices were lower.
